Have you looked at their website… it is not really a place to purchase local food… it looks like the same stuff I buy in the Smiths organic section. The last time I looked, they only had 1… maybe 2 locally grown products listed in their organic produce section. They don’t support the local food system in New Mexico.
If you want to check out a business that actually sells all, 100%, local (from NM) produce, meat… and well, everything, check out New Mexico Harvest. They also do home delivery and have an equally robust selection of food… and they only support local farms and producers.
1. Join a CSA
2. Support your community's farmers' markets
3. Become a member of the nearest co-op grocery store
4. Start an edible [home, community or school] garden
5. Volunteer your labor at a local farm or ranch
Find local groceries, growers’ markets, farms, co-ops, and food pantries
